Mi Familia happenings since I landed here in Singapore last May 30, 2011. 

One week gone, new week ahead! Looking forward for more!

1. Barbeque Party for Ate Malene's birthday celebration!

2. Swimming for daily exercise if I'm not running! Very good cardio workout! ;)

3. Nature trippin' at the National Orchid Garden.

4. Ending it off with one of my fave food in Singapore! Yummy Chicken Briyani! ;) I can eat more!!!

Greentennial Half Marathon

Greentennial Half Marathon 2011 at Aseana City ;) my second time to run for 5km. Time was pretty good that I finished in 43mins 15secs ;) not bad at all, 58secs earlier than my first 5k run! now aiming for a lesser time and training more for the Adidas KOTR run this October! ;)

Girlie's Birthday Bash

One of the Monterey Food Group girls Girlie celebrated her birthday last May 11, 2011 (late post). And as how we always celebrate birthdays in the Food Group family, flowers, cakes and surprises galore! ;) We wish Girlie sunshine and smiles, laughter and love always ;) Btw, the cake was the latest offering from Goldilocks! Wasn't able to try it thou but it smells delicious! Choco Orange cake from Goldilocks! Will definitely drop by to try one! ;)

Goldilocks 45th Anniversary Fun Run

Tiring but FUN! :) Finished the 5k mark for the Goldilocks 45th Anniversary Fun Run held this morning at Bonifacio Global City Taguig. Gun Start at 5:50am finished the 5k mark at 44minutes 31seconds ;) Click Race Results for the official time. Breakfast afterwards at Mary Grace Serendra ;)

My Official time. ;) Time to beat next time for the Greentennial Half Marathon this May 22, 2011.

Finish Time: is time from the gun start to the time you crossed the finish line. Results for this is used as basis for determining the Top 3 finishers. Chip Time: is when you cross the start line to the finish line. This is most helpful for you to know your personal record (PR). source: RunRio.com

Visita Iglesia 04.21.2011

This is my first time to join the family in Visita Iglesia. It is a tradition of a Filipino family (introduced by the Spanish colonizers) where in you have to visit seven churches and reciting two stations per church. In our case, because of lack of time, we just had to recite our own prayers and intentions per church. Below are pictures of the Blessed Sacrament per church we visited. 

First Stop. Shrine of Jesus. The Way, the Truth and the Life. Pasay City

 Second. National Shrine of Our Mother of Perpetual Help. Baclaran

 Third. Nuestra Senora de Remedios. Malate

 Fourth. Manila Cathedral

 Fifth. San Agustin Church.

 Sixth. San Roque Cathedral. Caloocan

And lastly. Our Lady of Grace Parish. Caloocan

Everybody's Cafe

After attending the PABASA at Penaranda Nueva Ecija last Apr 10 the whole gang decided to drive to San Fernando Pampanga to eat dinner at Everybody's Cafe. Upon entering the cafe a wide variety of kapampangan food greeted us in a counter where you will have to choose the food that you want to order. What we ordered are Morcon (not the usual one but I recommend it), mustasa with buro, pritong hito, sinigang na hipon (largest hipon I ever saw), carabao tapa and we had Nathaniel's buko salad for dessert!
